Internet Afloat

Several ECP readers have asked us if we would collect and publish experiences of using the internet afloat, whether via a PC using WiFi or a phone company dongle, or via other internet-capable devices.

In view of the interest shown, we have indefinitely extended the trial that we started late April 2010, but it needs input from you and, of course, the information collected and displayed will be ‘as reported’ - we will not seek to verify it in any way.

The format may change as we go along, but we need the location and technology used, and the performance achieved. Reports of poor performance are useful too. Locations should be within the ECP area - Lowestoft to Ramsgate.

Over to you!
